Clinical Hypnotherapy and Building Better Sleep Patterns

Posted by:

In our busy, modern lives where we are constantly juggling work schedules, finances and family life, then it is, all too often, easy to find ourselves feeling too stressed to sleep.

As are lives become increasingly busier and more hectic stress can build up quickly without our even noticing until such time as we find we are not coping so well and we can find our sleep patterns altering.

Sleep helps us to reduce the amount of stress we accumulate throughout the day by using rapid eye movement sleep or you may have heard it referred to as REM sleep.

Unfortunately REM is limited to 20% of our sleep pattern, so, if there is a lot of perceived stress in your life, then you quickly use up that 20% of REM, and, as a result, you may find that you wake up during the night and may not be able to get back to sleep and you can feel quite miserable.

Clinical Hypnotherapy can help people focus on the positive, constructive aspects of their lives and can help people find solutions to problems and then by utilising trance, which is a natural, normal phenomenon that we all tend to go into many times a day, rather like daydreaming, can help reduce stress levels even more.

Therapy may take a number of sessions for the effect to be felt, but its effects can be very beneficial and not just for aiding with sleep issues but can be useful in many other areas such as helping with weight, stress, anxiety, confidence and anger management issues.
